Promise Keepers The invitation package will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Exploratory PhaseOnce the Invitation package is received, a staff person from Promise Keepers may visit your community for an "Exploratory Meeting" with local clergy. A representative of Promise Keepers’ Events Services Department will also schedule a site visit to evaluate the technical aspects of the venues under consideration. Announcement and Marketing PhaseThe outcome of the invitation package, the exploratory meeting, and the site visit will be a recommendation whether or not to pursue an event date and contract with the venue. After the venue is secured, local announcements and local marketing of the conference may commence. Volunteer and Production PhaseThe entire volunteer recruitment process begins four to five months ahead of the conference date. Volunteer training is facilitated by national Promise Keepers staff. Volunteer management is initiated by the national staff and sustained by local volunteer leadership through the event itself. |
