Bruce received his B.S. in Bible (1973) from Western Baptist College, Salem, OR; his Th.M. in New Testament (1978) from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, TX; and his Ph.D. in Practical Theology (1993) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K. He is a published author as well as a frequent speaker for Promise Keepers, Family Life, and Bible conferences in the U.S. and abroad. He and his wife, Yvonne, have 3 grown children – Kristin, married to Dustin Bailey; Justin, married to Breanna; and Jeremy. Dr. Bruce Fong currently serves as the President of Michigan Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MI. He came to MTS in 1999 from Portland, OR, where he was a member of the faculty for Multnomah Biblical Seminary as well as Pastor/Elder of Clear Creek Community Church, Gresham, OR.
