Dobie Weasel

For nearly a quarter of a century Evangelist Alvin (Dobie) Weasel has been preaching the gospel throughout North America. His animated style of presenting the gospel coupled with his unique sense of humor has endeared him to thousands around the globe. He is the husband of Jamie and father to John, Jacob, and Jordan.

Dobie is an Assiniboine Indian and his wife Jamie is also Native American which has given them a unique perspective on ministering to various ethnic peoples. God has blessed his ministry with unusual acceptance and favor across a wide landscape of racial diversities and cultural heritages.

Dobie is a graduate of Trinity Bible College and holds credentials and ordination through the Assemblies of God. He currently serves on the Board of Promise Keepers, a ministry devoted to reaching men for God.

Dobie has been honored to be a featured speaker at several Promise Keepers Events which allowed him the opportunity to challenge men to a deeper and more committed life in Christ. These events have given Dobie an even stronger burden for the men of this nation to be all they are called to be for the kingdom of God, men who take the spiritual lead in their homes and families.

Dobie also serves as the President of Native Excellence Resources, a company committed to the development of excellence in the Native community. Dobie speaks at several native conferences and convocations each year both in Canada and the U.S. He is able to speak as one coming from the reservation culture and lifestyle and present a living witness to God’s saving and changing power. From this position he is able to speak with clarity and authority to the young men and women who are searching for something to fill the emptiness that devastates so many lives.
