After last year’s amazing Promise Keepers event at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, we were excited to hold a bigger event this year in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We couldn’t wait to once again gather together to worship the Lord in a city that has always welcomed Promise Keepers with open arms.

Unfortunately, we’ve decided to call off the Tulsa event. (Scroll down for the good news, though!) At this time, our team has come to believe that the Lord wants us to focus our attention on another project. Our team is disappointed that we will not get to see you in Tulsa this year.

From Promise Keepers Chairman, Ken Harrison:

In my zeal for a follow-up to our successful event in July 2021 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, I made a decision to have a Promise Keepers event in Tulsa in October 2022. This was done without enough prayer for God’s leading, without enough collaboration with the Promise Keepers board, and without first going to the pastors in Tulsa.

Tulsa has always been one of Promise Keepers favorite cities, filled with great churches, godly leadership and wonderful people. All tickets sold thus far will be refunded immediately.

Here’s the good news—we’re working on a new project with the potential to reach thousands more men.

We’re talking about the upcoming Stand in the Gap 25th anniversary documentary.

On October 4, 1997, 1.4 million men gathered on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to pray for their families, confess their sins, and intercede for their nation. If our country ever needed more prayer, more confession, and more intercession, that time is now.

So, we’re producing a documentary that will offer a glimpse into what can happen when the men of our nation stand up and commit to following God’s plan for their lives.

The Stand in the Gap 25th Anniversary Documentary will air worldwide on October 4, and you’ll be able to watch it online–for free.

If you attended Stand in the Gap, you know that God moved powerfully at that larger-than-life event. It was front-page national news, and the movement it sparked changed the lives of thousands of men.

We believe this documentary will be the same kind of spark. Our goal has always been to challenge each generation to stand up for Christ. Young men need to know what’s possible when they join with their brothers, commit to the 7 Promises, and Stand in the Gap. This documentary can show them.

But you don’t have to wait for the documentary to air! We offer powerful online resources that allow you to connect with your brothers in Christ no matter where you are. You can find devotionals, testimonials, and classic Promise Keepers content on the PK app. We also host regular online events covering topics like fatherhood, marriage and relationships, sexual purity, and mental health that you can attend from anywhere in the world.

As we work to reschedule the Tulsa event, you have the resources to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with your brothers to find fellowship and sharpen your faith:

As Ken said, if you’ve already purchased tickets for the Tulsa event, the purchase price will be refunded immediately. You’ll also receive a signed book as our thanks to you for your support and patience.

Thanks for being a Promise Keeper. Be on the lookout for more updates in the coming weeks!
