    Donor Relations Group Leader (Donor Relations Captain)

Purpose: To recruit, manage, and direct the volunteer Donor Relations Team to ensure adequate diversity and effective deployment of the Donor Relations Team as they meet, greet, host and serve our major donors/potential major donors. To assist in recruiting of new potential Legacy Partners at the Legacy Partners booth. Encourage and motivate the Donor Relations Team to fulfill their goals and strategies. Ensure that every church within your sphere of influence actively partners in sending men to the conference.

Reports to: PK Donor Relations Manager

Works closely with: Conference Volunteer Coordinator, Conference Volunteer Leadership Team, PK Legacy Partners Manage

Pre-Conference Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the conference is “SOLD OUT”
  • Plan and implement strategies for the Donor Relations Team.
  • Meet regularly with Conference Volunteer Leadership Team to ensure:
    • Implementation of conference goals
    • Understanding of Donor Relations group goals
  • Initiate and lead the Donor Relations Team meetings
  • To ensure:
    • All volunteer positions are filled
    • All volunteer diversity goals are met
    • All volunteer job descriptions are handed out
    • All volunteer paperwork is completed
    • All volunteers are familiar with PK Conference: core values, policies and procedures, Donor Relations Team standard operating procedures
    • All volunteers are trained
    • Volunteer confirmation letters are sent

Conference Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all donor activities are executed with excellence, with an overall focus on continuing to serve and build relationships with our Major Donors and Legacy Partners
  • Ensure all volunteers are on-time and in position to engage donors/potential donors
  • Clean up all Donor Relations Team areas following event
  • Return all radios
  • Submit all documentation to PK Donor Relations Manager
  • Debrief with Conference Volunteer Leadership Team and Donor Relations Manager
