Retail Team

Purpose: To staff the working level positions for retail sales and assistance in the PK Retail Marketplace. These positions can include cashier, cashier assistant, and customer assistant. Ensure every church within your sphere of influence actively partner in sending men to the conference.

Reports to: Retail Vendor Manager

Works closely with: Retail Team Members and PK Retail & Exhibits Manager

Special Qualifications/Preferred Profile: Willing to work around and with cash, facilitate cash/check/credit card/debit card transactions required for cashiers, familiarity with touch screen computers preferred but not required for cashiers

Pre-Conference Responsibilities:

  • Help recruit other Retail Team volunteers, if needed
  • Pray for conference
  • Help to ensure the conference is “SOLD OUT”

Conference Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with the Retail Marketplace, store products and prices
  • Participate in training on Friday afternoon of the conference
  • Cashier – Enter customer sales in register efficiently and correctly
  • Cashier Assistant – Bag merchandise at point of sale
  • Customer Service – assist customers with products (sizes, location, color, etc.)
  • Ensure displays are organized and shopable
  • Help keep the store clean and neat (break down card board boxes, remove trash and boxes)
  • Notify Retail Vendor Manager of any labeling/price discrepancies
  • Restock merchandise as requested
  • Assist with inventory, repacking of product, and palletizing as requested at end of conference
