Security Team

Purpose: To provide a safe and protected environment for Promise Keeper conference, control access into staff and guest areas. Ensure every church within your sphere of influence actively partner in sending men to the conference.

Reports to:Security Captain

Works closely with:Venue Security, PK Conference Services Manager

Special Qualifications/Preferred Profile:

  • Police or law enforcement experience, military or high level security experience preferred (active or retired in good standing)
  • Two (2) years minimum experience preferred

Pre-Conference Responsibilities:

  • Help recruit other security volunteers.
  • Help to ensure the conference is “SOLD OUT”
  • Participate in the security training session as directed by the Security Captain
  • Understand PK security and radio communications protocols
  • Understand Assignments
  • Understand Credential System
  • Receive work assignment, schedule, dress code, and reporting instructions
  • Familiarize yourself with venue facilities and general event information
  • Learn names and roles of key personnel.

Conference Responsibilities:

  • Check in with Security Captain at Volunteer Check-In, receive Security T-Shirt
  • Review security instructions with Security Captain
  • Complete duties as assigned
