Ken R. Harrison

Chairman of the Board

As Promise Keepers’ Chairman of the Board, Ken Harrison’s mission is to provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the ministry while inspiring men to be bold, humble, and ambitious about their faith. Prior to joining our leadership team, Harrison served in the Los Angeles Police Department and achieved success in commercial real estate. He is on the board for several Christian organizations, appears on a variety of media outlets, and has authored several books. Harrison has been married to his wife for over 30 years and they have three children.

Shane Winnings

CEO

Shane Winnings joins Promise Keepers as CEO after befriending Ken Harrison through his ministry work and evangelism. An army veteran and former police officer, Winnings’ early career gave him experience in combat, leadership, and law enforcement. While serving on the force in Federal Way, WA, Winnings began using his free time to preach in Tacoma streets and parks. Then, he followed God’s call into full-time ministry, preaching across America and on social media. Winnings now has over one million social media followers and reaches hundreds of millions of souls with the uncompromising truth of the gospel. Additionally, he has authored two books and leads a top-ranked podcast called, “Pursuing Jesus.” Winnings and his wife, Jessica, have two sons and reside off the coast of central Florida.

Donald Burgs, Jr.

According to his colleagues, Donald Burgs, Jr. is a true leader and vitally involved in his church, community, and denomination. He serves in a multitude of advisory and leadership positions for organizations such as African American Fellowship of Southern Baptist Convention of Texas and the City of Houston. Burgs, Jr. is the pastor at Alief Baptist Church. He has been married to his wife for over 29 years and they have three children.

Chad Hennings

Chad Hennings is best known for his successful professional football career with the Dallas Cowboys. Before winning three championships with his team, Hennings was an accomplished lineman in high school and a decorated pilot in the Air Force. Since retiring from the NFL, he has worked in commercial real estate, written three books, become a motivational speaker, and established a Christian men’s ministry. He and his wife, Tammy, live in Texas and have two children.

Del de Windt

Del de Windt is the co-founder of Cardinal Group Companies (CGC), a Denver, CO-based company that focuses on multifamily real estate across the United States. De Windt has two beautiful daughters in elementary school and is involved in several organizations serving at-risk youth on the front range of Colorado. He gave his life to Christ when he was 25 years old and is passionate about serving in God’s kingdom. De Windt is a graduate of Stanford University.

Samuel Rodriguez

Often recognized as one of the top Christian leaders and most influential people of our time, Samuel Rodriguez has been involved in numerous ministries, organizations, and governments. He is regularly featured on popular television shows and in well-known publications, and has received a number of awards and accolades. Rodriguez is also an executive producer, LA Times bestselling author, and co-founder of an international Christian television network. He currently serves as senior pastor of New Season Worship Center. Rodriguez and his wife, Eva, have three children.

Steve Berger

For nearly 30 years, Steve Berger’s ministry has been marked by purpose and passion. He is the founding pastor of Grace Chapel in Leipers Fork, TN, and is known for his straight-talk in the pulpit. He and his wife, Sarah, have self-published multiple books about their life experiences, including their teenage son’s entrance into Heaven. Whether preaching or writing, in great joy or pain, Steve longs to be a proclaimer of the grace and hope that Jesus came to offer. He and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 35 years and they have four beautiful children.

A.R. Bernard

With maturity, decisiveness, consistency, and strength, A.R. Bernard has built up a congregation of over 37,000 at the Christian Cultural Center, the church he leads in Brooklyn. He has been named the #1 religious leader in New York by The New York Daily News, and described as, “The Power Pastor” by the New York Times. The Times also wrote, “The reverend’s intellectualism and distinctive brand of man-up Christianity draws a wide audience to his church, the largest in New York.” Additionally, Bernard is a member of New York City Economic Development Corporation’s board of directors, and a bestselling author.

Senator James Lankford

Senator Lankford, who served four years in the U.S. House of Representatives for central Oklahoma, was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2014. He serves as chairman of the Regulatory Affairs and Federal Management Subcommittee. He believes that the federal government has an important role in our nation, but empowered families, individual people, and private businesses grow our economy and pass down our values. Before his time in Congress, James served students and families in ministry for more than 20 years. Lankford and his wife, Cindy, have been married for over 27 years and have two daughters.
